As an elder of Grace, I have seen numerous requests for prayers for persons impacted with cancer. I have felt a burden from the Lord to be active in responding those in need. I want to do more than just say, I will pray for you, but as James say, put our faitn into action. My primary motive is to demonstrate the love of Christ to thos who have been impacted by cancer. My desire is to educate others on the impact of cancer, promote awareness and prevention, provide practical support, provide connecting resources and most of all to glorify the Lord in this area. Personally, 4 of my cousins have left this world via cancer. I can no longer be an observer, but want to be a change agent in the hands of the Lord. So thanks for joining with me as we serve him in this area.
